I've already been contemplating buying some cloth napkins the next time I'm at walmart...kid free of course cause it's all I can do to get out of the toy section. I think what you're doing is cool...there is some ick factor to it...but at the same time I believe toilet paper is one of the most over used things people have...I had to teach the little girl I babysit that she only needs 2 pieces when she pees and she looked at me like I had 5 heads.

I'm still feeling like I "just couldn't" about using them for poo... but for just pee (which is totally sterile) they work great. And I end up feeling like some kind of queen who is being fed grapes by hunky dudes (James Purefoy and Henry Ian Cusick would do nicely, thank you)... I'd also have somebody fanning me all Cleopatra style with one of those big fans. It's really pampering. Heh.

I also forgot to mention that I totally made my cloth wipes two-ply, so there's literally no mess. It's so easy to throw them into a load of socks and underwear and be done with it.

And now I'm sitting here giggling at the title...

Kelly - I keep it around because the boys have no interest in making the switch... and for guests... which I literally have like... one friend come over about once a month. Heh, hermiting FTW!

Tara - Unfortunately we bought an 8 pack of paper towel rolls at Costco RIGHT before I started cutting back. So it'll be quite awhile before I run completely out.

We haven't bought a role of paper towels in AGES. Once they are gone you don't even recognize it. We have lots of rags and dishcloths and I can't imagine any other way.

It's addiction really. Soon enough you'll be fully converted to cloth everything and be firmly planted in the too-crunchy category with me. ;)
