Xmas fatshions... a case study

I've been wearing a uniform of sorts lately: tunic length black v-neck, leggings, knee high boots, large grandpa cardigan, scarf. Switch up which color leggings or sweater, change out the scarf, do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around. Needless to say, it's been getting a little stale. And since I love any good excuse to dress up, I decided to use Xmas as an opportunity to mix it up a little.

You look very cute. My husband liked your pose in the first pic.

I must digress a bit: I hate We Love Colors tights! Their customer service was awesome, but...

the tights lost all of their "grab" in the top! WTF? Then one pair snagged and was ruined right away, first day. Of course I am pretty damn active and not prissy about my clothes. But I'm really sad about not finding the right tights for me. If you ever hear of another brand made of sturdier stuff - and that can accommodate my big mama tummy, please LMK.

Kelly - Oh no!! Their tights are literally the only brand I've found that work for me. But I am pretty prissy about my clothes. Really prissy, in fact. I have found that one of my pairs did what you describe in the top, but the rest still seem ok. I wonder if maybe the reason they work for me is because of how short-bodied I am. I ordered their smallest size, even though I weigh 225 and they go all the way up under my boobs. LOL

Maybe it was just that pair. And I can totally see how being prissy about clothes helps one wear different kind of clothes. I think I'm going to have to stay in Carhartt jeans, refashioned t-shirts, and Doc Martens forever.

But someday I will knit me up some fabulous, rough-and-tough wool tights so I can be warm in the winter.
